Seeing if anyone can help me get up to hate and grab my book of souls for my ragebringer epic it would be much appreciated..i have done /who all hate and asked whoever was in hate but theyve always got a rogue up there for it so i dont know what else to do.People say just port up naked or whatever and go loot it but i dont think its just that simple see invis mobs and such..just seeing if anyone is willing to give me a hand...thanks!

It sounds like you're doing it right op. Just gotta keep at it, eventually there won't be a rogue who needs it. The other solution is to find a guild that does hate.

I think persistence will pay off though.

Log on to one of the easy servers and learn the path to the book. It's pretty easy to get to. Once you think you can make the run, get a port up from a wizard. Port up invis, then sneak/hide as soon as you land. Sneak/hide while sowed to the book, avoiding Liches and Banshees since those will see rogue hide. Bring either a WC cap or a Lizard Blood Potion. Have those hotkeyed in case you get in trouble, but also to use to instantly get out of Hate when you have your book.

There are godmode servers at server select. But you could save the hassle and just watch youtube videos of Hate. I'm sure some exist.

A long time ago that's how I learned the route to Nagafen, just spam watching youtube videos. Beats dying to those damn bats.

It's pretty good advice to get you and your porter stuck dead in Hate. I don't recommend solo runs on P99. Hate isn't classic and it's just too dangerous to suggest to a newer person, much less an experienced one.

I would pay the porter an extra 200pp so they could cap out instantly upon port up and get recharges.

You're right to put an extra flag of caution. I am overzealous with taking extreme risks because that's pretty fun to me in a game I have otherwise conquered. Only do the solo hate shit if you're willing to have a corpse you can't recover for an undetermined amt of time.

That said, if I ever get Borgnach up to the planar levels, I am absolutely gonna try to do this solo.

My suggestion is to go up with a guild wait for them to clear the first floor and then make the run even if the book isn't there camp out and every ten hours log in and immediately sneak hide and check the nightstand for the book. No book /q out. Rinse and repeat til you get it then cap out.

Don't you think it would be a bit safer to /camp and sit there with fully clenched? That way if you get aggro, you still have a chance to cap out. If you're /q'd you may just log in naked

Corpse/bank your gear and go in naked. If you find book potion/cap out (or, if you don't view staff as humans, you can die and have the book corpse summoned).

ha! what do you expect from someone that actually got banned from Agnarr, someone with morals or scruples? I am just glad dude is on red. He should fit in perfectly there.

Here's advice I can offer from my death runs to hate.

I've done solo runs on the rogue before and its not too bad of a run if you don't stray from the beeline to the book and hit imp traps. Buy an IVU pot and the loathing lichs won't see you as you sneak hide all the way there.
Other tricks include bringing a Shiny Brass Idol; for if you get noticed with the book in arms reach, you wont waste a trip up. Bring a WC cap to get out.
If you get up to the book (w/o aggro) and its not there, ask those in zone if they know what time it was grabbed and camp out for 10 hours. Login, grab the book and WC cap out. (Note immediately hide when you login, you might avoid pather aggro, you might not) Also put wc cap on hot bar, you wont have time to look for it when you login.

The book is always there iirc. If someone else has grabbed it since you zoned in, camp out and in and you should see it again.

8 hour respawn now. Took a bit a BFG exploiting to finally get them to patch ground spawn timers.

Jetblue to the rescue...jetblue sent me a msg on forums told me he had a book l logged in and he went right with me to steamfont to do it i cant thank him enough it was awesome and very nice of him to mq that for me free of charge...i also want to thank all you guys for ur replies and msgs i got more msgs wanting to help me after jetblue as well..people on p99 so helpfull i appreciate it now im onto the general any advice for him?
