i havent been able to play project 99 yet because i havent been home to collect my titanium CD's yet. excited to play i have however looked up videos on youtube of classing everquest. and it brought up a question for me..
particle effects, original?
do their intensity increase as you level? and at the same intervals that they used to?
i have heard leveling is alot slower, is there hell levels again?
are they the same levels?
are the classic lowbie quests (ie, kaladim bone chip and CB belt) still yielding awesome exp.
i see item being sold on the forum's for what seems to be A LOT of PP, is the server flooded with PP? is it easier to collect? or are things just THAT hard to come by now that people can charge that price for them. any and all answers would be awesome...

and in the event that i overlooked a thread that describes in a little more detail how original the developers have been able to get. i would appreciate a link to that section

particle effects are the original ones, and they do increase as you level (35&50 i think it was, some however start at the "2nd lvl" (e.g. buffs))

yes there are hell lvls 30,35,40&45 so just like back on live

Yes CB Belts still deal awesome XP, havent tested the other ones so far but i think its pretty much the same there

PP is a bit flooded for my taste, but im a Ranger so i dont have that much money making abilities anyway ;) but its not a big deal overall

Have Fun playing :)

Prices used to be very inflated but I've noticed a huge trend downwards, especially on expensive items like FBSS, Tranix Crown, Yaks, etc which all used to be higher. A notable example is dark reaver which people used to be able to sell for 1K on this server, but now sells for about 400p (the same as the price on my old server, Rodcet Nife). So remember when you see something un-classic, that all things become more classic over time on p99, even the things the devs can't control.
