occasional wolf form can make for some fun rp opportunities (beyond the leg humping enthusiastically embraced by the greater community). that said, i regularly remove wolf form, particularly if i am not feeling like being a dog (which is often, interestingly). However,

1. i am not a disgusting lizard (ever) and
2. perhaps more importantly, i do not min-max anything other than monotony-fun ^^

I am waiting for some autistic nerd to jump in here and start defending Iksar, it always happens when any perceived slight occurs towards that race.

I despise the wolf form animations, and hate the fact I cannot see if I am sitting or standing when in wolf form. I never use this spell on my druid. Ever.

thats how i feel for the most part, the whole animation of the fd feels weird too, its still viable for a few scenario's like pulling wide open outdoor zones (dreadlands/ot) maybe.

I notice a pattern here. Since coming back Swish has been on an attack spree attacking other elf posters on the forums.

All the elfs gave him a warm and genuine "welcome back" greeting when he came back from his suspension and this is how he shows his appreciation.

Someone tell Swish there's no need to create strife in order to give himself relevance here. We are all of the same ilk, enlightened nerdlings of the p99 forums.

You need to remember it was a post classic graphics update that broke a lot of things such as wolf/iksar animations, armour textures, transparencies and so on,

These fixes are reverting the client to a more classic, non-broken state!

I've heard that there is a first-person mode for EQ. Maybe that would solve your problem? Do take care to always go third-person in melee, whichever bozo decided it was a good idea for wolf-form melee animation to clip thru the target has earned a very special place in hell. First-person for sitting/travelling, thrid-person for melee and the oh-so-important spitting arrows out your mouth.

if you don't know if you're sitting just turn, if you turn you're standing up
