Stuck on "Patching Everquest - Connecting..."

I just decided to play P99 again after four months, but now when I try to load it it's stuck on "Patching Everquest - Connecting...". I already uninstalled and reinstalled EQ Titanium and patched the files/deleted the appropriate files.

Anyone know how to solve this?

there shouldn't be a patch, did you skip the step with making short cut? ps, wrong fourms, more info on the tech part of fourms

To anyone finding this thread - follow the "Getting Started" link on the main page. That has the answers you seek. In this example, the user neglected to edit their shortcut.
