Just found out about this server yesterday and was pretty stoked to get it installed. I've been a gamer since the 80's and had my first MMO run in EQ Mac where I fell in love with tankinng; of all the MMOs I've played since, nothing has compared to my experience in EQ. A while back, I bought a PC to try to relive some of my experiences in EQ, but wasn't feeling the direction the game went. Very much looking forward to digging into this and meeting some new people.

Greetings! Played a Mage to 85 and a Warrior to 65 in Classic EverQuest back in the day. Played for years and then our guild and group sorta faded away, although I still remain in touch with the group I leveled with back then.

I have started another Mage on the P99 server and, although I forgot just how slow the solo grind is, I am having a blast. Trying to remember the in's and out's of playing a low level toon is challenging and I cry when I think about all the gear on my old toons (still sitting there I suppose) as I struggle to get cloth items for my lvl 4.

I hope I can find a group of simular level folks who have the same mind set so I can take on Orc camps in EC soon!
