Since I very first started playing on here I have been saving my bonechips for Trooper mozo.

I am a Dwarven Brell worshipping Warr

Ill presumably start out "Ready to Attack" or "Threatning" (like I am with Bashers due to class bonus.)

1. Whats the minimum required faction for doing hand in with no special arrangements?

2. Which of these if any helps.
a) Invis and stand behind.
b) Wolf form
c) Illusions (are there any?)
d) Can you have someone charm a presumably level 60 guard?

I need to get ridda these bonechips asap, banking is a nightmare atm.

Thanks guys.

Invis won't really work. I don't know about Wolf form. You can't have another illusion cast on you so that won't work. Trooper Mozo is level 50, so charming him would be really difficult, but not impossible.

I want to do this as well. Maybe we could have a big bonechip hand in party! I want to be friends with the lizards on a human shadowknight so I can do the lizardy quests without being ugly.

This is how it worked on live, may or may not be the same here. This was a long time ago, so forgive me if I'm slightly inaccurate.

Trooper Mozo is on Legion of Cabilis faction. You will be KoS to start with and you will need to get to dubious to do the bone chip quest. Legion of Cabilis (warrior) faction is easy, just slaughter Sarnak or Kunark Goblins.

The real problem is the Crusaders who patrol right past Trooper Mozo. Quarg and Bodli are not on Legion faction but are on Crusaders of Greenmist (sk) / Scaled Mystics (shaman) faction and it will take many many many bonechips before they will even think about tolerating your dwarven hiney. And they may never decide to do so....

Cabilis has many factions and you can start out at a different level to all of them. You may start off -100pts from dubious on one faction but -1000 from dubious on the next faction. Cabilis factions are also capped and the cap can depend on your race/religon. As an agnostic half-elf bard, I think I maxed at warmly to Legions, amiable to Crusaders, and indifferent to mystics. (not using any illusion or faction song tricks) My Cazic-Thule troll shaman was able to cap higher with Scaled Mystics. A dwarf Brell worshipper is probably going to have different results. I would suspect you may never get to non-kos with the more zealous Cabilis factions (greenscale/mystics) but should be able to be find acceptance amongst the Legions/Residents(merchants)/Swifttails (monks). Just doing the bone chip quest, I maxed out at different times for each faction: Legions first, Residents, Swiftails 3rd, Crusaders 4th, Mystics 5th.

It takes lots and lots and lots of bone chips to max out all factions. Even if you max out all the bone chip factions, you still won't have the run of Cabilis. The Brood of Kotiz (necromancers) will still attack you. This can be raised by killing lots of outcast Iksar (bandits, maraders and such)

It's a LOT of work, but I always enjoyed watching the lizards eyes bug out when I walked past them to bank/sell/quest in Cabilis. :D

And yes, I was a bit faction obsessed........lol

1. dubious
2.
a) no
b) no
c) iksar illusion, but you're not a bard/rogue/chanter
d) yes, level 50 guard. Need to find a high level chanter/bard with a lot of patience though.

Otherwise you could just kill a lot of goblins / sarnaks / frogloks, almost all of whom give +Trooper faction. Eventually you'll get to dubious with troopers but remain KOS with every other iksar. At that point just start doing bone chip turn ins but watch out for crusaders.

Good post. You'll probably want somewhere between 5,000 and 7,000 bone chips to become non-kos with every faction (except necros). Crusaders will be the last to hit dubious, and some of them are on slightly different factions, so if one crusader is dubious doesn't mean the rest will be. Check the ones inside Cabilis for a real test. Once you hit dubious with crusaders you should be indifferent or amiable with most of the other factions inside cab (except necros).

Another note, even if the bankers are KoS you can still bank with them (just make sure you're high enough level that they are green con).

Found my notes,

As an Innoruuk worshipping Troll, with some very minor faction work (killing sarnaks) done beforehand:

Roughly 600 turn ins (2,400 bone chips) to get from Scowling to Dubious with troopers
At 1070 turn-ins (4,280 bone chips) I was apprehensive with troopers
At 1187 turn-ins (4,748 bone chips) I was indifferent to troopers but still threatening to crusaders. Shamans were apprehensive or indiff, Monks were apprehensive, SKs were threatening, Necroes were scowls, merchants were dubious.

Maybe it's obvious.. but what are some of the major reasons to get faction up in cabilis? Just to generally be able to bank/shop somewhere on the kunark continent? Thanks in advance for answers to my question

For evil races/classes, your Overthere faction gets tanked when you hunt in Karnor's or HS, so it's useful to have someplace on Kunark where you can buy/sell/bank once you can't go back to OT

The reason I raised the Cabilis factions was for fun and roleplay. You don't run into too many half-elves in Neriak, Grobb, Oggok, or Cabilis. Other than that, the banking/selling is nice for convenience, especially for Evils as Darian noted. There's also a couple of quest lines like the Monk shackles or the Shamen cudgels that are cool, but I'm not sure if they were in at Kunark launch.

I'd say For 99% of the playerbase, it's probably not worth the effort.
