Hello Everyone!

My name is Hvitserk and I just wanted to extend a hello to you all. Im an old EQ player and decided to set up my EQ to play on P1999. I just got it set up and now its time to decide what I want to play. I have a few classes in mind but ill narrow it down here and get to leveling!

Again I just wanted to extend a hello to you all.

Atm Im torn between classes Druid vs Shaman and then its the race debate lol

hah do it in reverse and the decision will be much easier.

Well the druid has ports, buffs, heals, and decent dmg which is what im leaning towards. On live i played a pally and a monk but I do want to solo some or at least have that option available

Druids are great - but Shamans really bloom in Kunark. Both classes can solo just fine, although druids are slightly better at that in terms of xp/hour.

Really, if you want the most raw power and combat utility available to you, I say go Shaman. If you want general utility (distinct from combat utility), go Druid.
