Hey guys,
I posted in the petition forum because my family and I all play from the same IP.
I can't see the post, but maybe this is normal? Is there any way to confirm a post to the petition forums posted?
Thanks!
Cylock

Because your account is new a certain period of time has to pass before you can post freely on the forums. This is to deter troll posts and other things some people find funny. Currently your posts are moderated. Also I do all IP exemptions that are submitted on p99 in batches roughly every 2 weeks. If time allows I plan to do a batch today. Anyway, I look forward to seeing you around Norrath. I hope this has helped!

OP you might want to go buy a lottery ticket: today is your lucky day. Not only do most questions in this forum not get a direct staff response, but on top of that you're getting your IP exception resolved (probably) on the very same day. In the pre-Cylock days people would wait months for their IP exemptions to go through, and they would get no warning as to how long they'd have to wait.
P.S. Welcome to the server :)

I'm still waiting on my IP exemption. Cylock lies, apparently :PCylock did say he did them in batches. He also said that he'd only do them if he had time. These guys are unpaid volunteers and it can be a stressful job. C'mon, man.
Welcome to the server, Kristov!

All IP exempts done, enjoy I've never put in an IP exemption, do you really just accept them all? I was under the impression there was some test to prove there are really two people.
Is that why there are so many boxers from Novae on all the time?
Curious.

Innocent until proven guilty. I despise boxing. Almost as much as RMT. That's a shame.

I think they accept all the reasonable ones; practically speaking they would take A LOT longer to process if the GMs had to meet both people involved in-game just to approve every exemption. Plus, it wouldn't really help: anyone can get someone to help man the second computer that first time, then use the exemption for two-boxing after.
The test for two-boxing is applied in-game when someone reports it. That's a more practical way to do it I think, and if anyone fails they lose the exemption so it amounts to the same thing.

pretty sure the punishment is more severe than merely losing the exemption. p99 isn't the ftc.

No.
Not that it's any of your business, but it was more around figuring out the UI, how spell gems work, and getting lost in Nektulos.
Haven't gotten to see a true noob in over a decade and it was fun/refreshing. Nice to see that not all the community is great though, it would be sad if Trolls didn't make it into the game.
She was figuring out all that with our younger son, while our older son and I travelled from Feerott/Innothule swamp. Not sure you've ever made that trip at level 1/2 but it's not the kind of thing you multibox.
Anyway thanks to those who helped with shields and SoW to get us there. We made it alive!
