A few Aulders decided to take a peek at Red Server!
Posted on the PVP guild forum, but I’m not sure how many look there!

If you’re interested, we’re mostly based out of Freeport, but we are getting things set up on Red.

Trying it out! Had about 10-15 of our folks on throughout the day today. Setting up officers there and all that jazz.

Skarlorn,
We have people on throughout the day. Couple of us how have restricted play times trying to stick together and progress as a team. Still pretty new though.

I'm thinking of giving this a try. Are there any classes that are in dire need? I'm having trouble deciding on a class.

Cleric is always a good choice

For your first class on red, I always recommend druid, necro, shaman, mage, wizard, or Monk. Each of those can play alone in the game, but be assets in group or raid settings. If you know you'll have friends to group with or will be able to find strangers to play with then go with Enchanter, cleric, bard, shaman, or ANY of the tanking classes.
I appreciate the advice. I am not really looking to play alone (newbie yard levels notwithstanding), since the only reason I'd think of trying Red would be to level with ALS folks.

I know the old adages of "play what you want" and "XXX class is ALWAYS needed", but I was hoping to get some specific feedback from ALS Red folks with regard to which classes they lack at the moment. I have a few classes in mind that I'd like to play, but I have no strong preferences for any one class and I'd rather pick something that would mesh with the existing ALS Red characters and fill any needs they might have.

I believe they’re all trying different stuff out now. Switching around to get a feel for what each person wants. So your question is very hard to answer with a specific response. Jump in with something you’ve never played or haven’t played much. JMO

Thanks for the interest!
