The following are questions or needed information to complete the revamp of Chardok.
1. Respawn time of sarnak spy (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/npc.html?id=8685) - I couldn't find this information anywhere.
2. Bridge traps as they were in 2001 - Any research and/or recollections about these.
Internet research and/or testing on live (where applicable) would help a lot. Will add more questions as needed, but the zone looks great (props to Telin).

Is there a reason to think it's any different than the normal Frontier Mountains respawn time? I've seen several people mention the angry goblin's 3-day respawn, but haven't seen anything that would suggest the sarnak spy has a non-standard one.

This is huge. Chardok revamp will be huge for the server. It's beyond our imagination. You can't even say how great it's going to be. We WILL open trade negotiations with the Royal family.

Is there a reason to think it's any different than the normal Frontier Mountains respawn time? I've seen several people mention the angry goblin's 3-day respawn, but haven't seen anything that would suggest the sarnak spy has a non-standard one.
This was my initial thought on it. Cant find any comments about his spawn time, so would assume it was standard FM spawn time, but more research would be preferred

We know what the traps do on live now, but seems to have changed at some point based on earlier descriptions.

Nice didn't know this was in the works.
Just go ahead and skip the monk triple attack though, they're OP enough already.

Seems like there was just one trap there with a long respawn time ....that had a stun on it?

Any of the 3 ways into the "Castle" from (A) funnel to the same place, so I
don't think that would be the difference. Do any of those 3 paths skirt
the ( debuff? ) trap? Where the hell =is= that trap? Do you remember,
TwoHead? I never saw it when we did your Chardok raid, I just remember
"seeing" it go off and Heebs not being real happy about it.
Since we went to the Prince I'm pretty sure we didn't go that way to
bypass him <g>. Trap seemed to be out in that open area where the three
paths come together. I know the way we went we didn't set it off, just
the puller clearing in front of us from the sound of it.
Were they refering to things such as traps? I am max ally, and the traps
still hit me. They are just objects on the ground that hit <whoever>,
regardless of faction standing
At A, there is only one way into the castle. The 2 side windows are above
the deep pit (not particularly high, but its more than jump range), the
centre doorway is where you run in (theres a trap round here). Its been a
while.. I think the trap is a small dd and a dispell, but I could be wrong.
The last raid, we took the right side entrance via Lev and climbing the
wall to the east of it. If there's no real reason to ( like avoiding the
trap which doesn't seem possible ), then we'll go up the gut if we fight
in.
As for the trap, we did avoid it going that way but I don't think thats
the primary reason we used that route. The puller was hit by the trap
when someone not with our raid repeatedly triggered it as I recall,
Ziggy may be monitoring this and can perhaps recall this detail better
since I think he gave the guy some crap for doing it so many times.
Okay, good to know. I remember Heebs getting smacked by it repeatedly -
now I know why.

The 'Bridge of Death' has changed. For those who've hunted in old Chardok remember the Sarnaks who enjoyed blasting you off the double bridges just beyond the first castle. The new Sarnaks who spawn on the bridge no longer cast this knock back spell . .at least they didn't last night.
All the mobs have new names. There are more static spawns. For instance, between zone in and the Gatehouse are three sets of two static spawns. In the smallish room past the first door are three spawns. And more in other spots.
Spawn time appears to be 20 minutes or slightly less.
Updated info:
Chokidai Mangler blue to 52, Chokidai Bloodhound 53rd, Chokidai Bonesnapper, Chokidai Whelp, Chokidai Sniffer, Chokidai Growler, Sarnak Recruit blue to 52, Sarnak Slavedriver blue to 52, Sarnak Underboss 55th, Enslaved Iksar Miner 55th undead procs Heartflutter -21str -8ac debuff, Shai'din Soultrapper necro gated, Di'zok Partisan, Shai'din Conscipt SK or War, Di'zok Underling, Di'zok Channeler gated, Di'zok Recruit, Di'zok Invoker, Sarnak Overseer, Shai'din Nightfear, Di'zok Serjeant, Reanimated Partisan (undead), Reanimated Conscript (undead), Sarnak Hemlock.
Also were the Bridge Keeper (?) golem conned yellow at 56, and Foreman Mirtakk 56th down in the mines. He dropped Vial of Rolling Gas (10 charges of levitate) once and the Girdle of Flayed Iksar the second time. He has a static Sarnak Underboss PH. Watch Seajeant Riz'oul, blue to 56, appeared around the Gatehouse. He dropped Nathasar Vambraces.
All mobs at zone in, zone out and the gatehouse were blue to 56 and some green to 59th. The 55th mobs were down in the mines. Not one mob summoned, even the 55th and named.
Other mobs we saw casting but never fought are off duty Accountant, Physician, off duty Researcher, and Apprentice Herbalist.

Chardok: The bridge that leads to the Royal building at the bottom of this zone has an AoE blast-trap on it. From the outside crossing the bridge, this trap is difficult to sense without getting to close and set it off. If you do, it's an alarm to the guards and mobs inside and you will moste surely go -SPLAT- before you know it. It can be sensed and disarmed from the outside, but it's hard and you must be patient going small steps on the bridge then use sense trap, take one step, sense trap etc etc until you find it. From the inside of building coming out, the trap is easily detected and disarmed right about where the door is.
Again not 2001, but maybe useful if in era info can't be found.
