She is a con artist, as much as trump is. She packages and sells false hope and lies to billions of people over the years.
Just poinging out that she aint no different than trump, and if your democrat friends are stoked on her, then you need to ask them, why are you stoked on someone who is simply a left wing trump? I thought you wanted someone qualified?

as it happens unfortunately, politicians have made it their lifes work and job to lie to the masses and grift people nothing new although it is disappointing humans haven't overthrown the shackles yet. i think the problem is contrary to what the founders might have thought and wrote about people don't want liberty or death they want someone to tell them what to do a nice ruler. they would rather on a mass scale when you look at us as a whole give up their freedom for security and the last two decades have proved it.

The founding fathers were mostly rich grifters like any other group of elites.
They meant freedom from taxes the noble class imposed so they can exploit the poor themselves without having to pay tax. That's the kind of freedom they were about. They were interested in freeing any slaves or making any poor person's life more free.
Were not all rich....so no, most people don't value that kind of freedom because its not freedom at all for them, is it?
CyricTheMad420

i would mostly agree, "To Ourselves and Our Posterity" didn't mean every average smoe forever after. however i would argue not all of them were elite power grabbers only out for enriching themselves although probably most of em and most of the presidents as well especially in our life time.
Adams had need of his wealthy friends like Jefferson and with Franklin's help they won over more rich people without whom they would never have gotten a rebellion of the ground. Having said all that though, you can't deny the impact their words has had on generations of Americans and while it may have been social engineering and securing power over the masses it also has cause a lot of us to be raised thinking the old slogans are real, all men created equal and all that. they must have had some idea how those ideas would impact future generations of American in positive ways. at least from the stand point of liberty and keeping government small (although we have failed at that)

I think this is really valuable. In my role as a marketing director I primarily do business with personal development companies. I cut my teeth writing sales copy and sales videos for them.
All self-help, personal Dev industry are con artists. I thought that was a bad thing at first, but now I realize it's okay. Confidence Artists boost people's confidence in themselves and ideas in order to get them to take action. And for so many people who have cucked their life into pieces, a little confidence booster (even if it only lasts for a week during your $5,000 in person seminar), is a sweet treacle tart after a long life of eating barley gruel.
Here's the thing, and this is why Mick is right. Presidents are also con artists. If you don't understand this, I'm sorry, I don't have the time to explain right now. Donald Trump is an extraordinary con artist. So is Oprah. If you hate Trump but like Oprah you're just sucking the green milk out of the weird alien on your party's jedi planet.
Oprah is NOT for laborers. Oprah is NOT for socialism. Oprah is a hardcore capitalist and rightfully seeing her chance to angle herself into the next sphere of oligarchy.

Aristotle was the first one to point out that Monarchy is the best if the monarch was good. But it is far to easy to turn into tyranny. Just takes a mediocre ruler really, not even a horrible one.
He decided that Democracy was "tyranny of the poor" and didn't like it...but he further more established a pattern. Democracy was too chaotic and a strongman would be elected to stand up against the excesses of the mob. The strongman would generally be a true monarch, but then it devolves into tyranny.
Aristocracy was how to avoid this. Rule by the rich was more stable than rule by 1 leader. Stability made aristocracy the best forum of government. We live in aristocracy currently. There are a lot of people that basically still agree with Aristotle. That Aristocracy is the best form of government because it is the most stable.
I always was more of a Plato guy.

That's just the negative version of aristocracy. Like Tyranny vs Monarchy. But good point I guess.
To me...that's all bullshit I guess... I don't think there is such thing as Aristocracy as he articulated it -- maybe in small villages etc. There definitely have been benevolent kings...there has never been an entire nobility that was benevolent.

A kakistocracy (English pronunciation: /kækɪsˈtɑkɹəsi/) is a system of government which is run by the worst, least qualified, or most unscrupulous citizens. The word was coined as early as the 17th century. It was also used by English author Thomas Love Peacock in 1829, but gained significant usage in the 21st century.
I think this does indeed happen more than people realize. I first noticed this in MMORPGs....you ever notice how the most incompetent and pathetic fucks in the guild are the highest status, have the most loot, lots of friends...etc?
What happens when a super fast-rising good player tries to shake things up? Well hes kicked of course. Way too threatening.
Imagine my surprise when I find out this kind of how modern corporations work. Kill the threatening people and promote the dumbasses who you can relay on. They know their a piece of shit lucky to have the job. Last thing you need is someone smarter and more capable around challenging you.
Evidence: I was pretty bad at video games but was always in whatever the top MMO guild was on my server with some of the best loot (except that faceless shit - LOL at that).

this is why Trump has been successful in the private sector. being "smart" doesn't make one a good leader or even a meaningful contributor. you can be brilliant and impotent at the same time because you lack the ability to wield your own talents.

right off the bat id have to disagree with trump being smart lol. i think what he meant was more along the lines of someone like trump shouldn't hire a real smart guy just to make him conform and do what trump wants the point of hiring smart people is so they can help you make your business better and find new and better ways of doing things. of course i didnt mean to come off like being smart is the end all be all of things i mean obvi look at trump lol trump may be smart depending on how you judge the characteristic is he smart like roger penrose or neil degrasse tyson hell no, but is he smart like a mega church pastor is smart where 1000's maybe 10's of thousands of people give their money so that pastor can live in a mansion, yeah ill give him that.
