He actually wasn't in it. I was buying an odd-looking cake and the description card on it was that it was "Weird like Sting" (not the singer was implied.) I'm going to bake this cake.

Sting was a badass in this movie.

God, I finally watched that. First of all I love Lynch. And I love Dune. The first 45 minutes of the movie were so awesome then it was just like a series of vignettes. I do feel that Lynch got down a lot of the prescient abstraction through visuals that all others have failed to do. Sting was really cool. Movie was turrble though.

Looks like Chronicles of Elyria, which I was somewhat looking forward to, will likely end development soon. =(

Yeah the aesthetics were really awesome and considering the time it was made makes it even more impressive to me. But I agree. I seen it as a kid, thought it was great (lol).

Tried to watch it as an adult just recently (I got it on DVD) and halfway through it started falling asleep. :(
