Stonebrunt Mt. level restriction ?

I was under the impression that the zone did not allow one to loot kills if they couldn't get xp for the kill so the zone wouldn't be farmed by 60's, so I took my level 51 over there figuring I could still get some xp from mobs there.

However when I killed a dark blue, and got xp the corpse still went poof, does the zone also have a restriction for levels 50's or did I just get unlucky ?

Incorrect in the details.

1) If you are too high, you get the message 'this was trivial for your party'
2) If you are too high, you lose the chance at any magic/lore items appearing on the corpse. Normal stuff still shows up.
3) If you got exp, you were not too high
4) Things can still just not drop even if you aren't too high.
5) If you're too high, you can still get regular drops (like the wicker armor or animal pelts).

The wiki says it has a few common drops and an "always" and nothing dropped, corpse poofed instantly. However I did not get the trivial message maybe it was bugged?

The wiki is not accurate for this mob (or p99 has an inaccurate loot table for it). Theres been a few times Ive killed Prowler and there was nothing at all on it. Ive seen the leggings twice in about 12 kills

I see so that was a mix of bad luck and false info, mystery solved.

If the corpse poofed instantly then you didn’t kill it something else did. Prowler can also drop nothing as it’s the most of the rare spawns to spawn.

Its my understanding that the trivial loot code gets removed from stonebrunt in a future p99 update.

I have also killed the prowler and got nothing with a poof - other times i get a drop no bug just how it goes

Remove the Always tag, add a note in the mob's description field, or even something like this "Loot You Were Expecting (Always -- hey i dunno i killed it and the corpse poofed in 30 seconds)"

You don't have to be immaculate with your wiki styling edits. More information is better than less information.

i think the hesitance to update the wiki comes from uncertainty as to the accuracy of the zone itself
