Purple plate caster look

Hey all can someone share with me the name or provide a link to this armor as the only thing I have found is

Or possibly some other purple gear that a caster can wear.
I know it exists I've seen it.

Only thing I can think of is the DE chain stuff.

Human/Erudite necros get Flayed Skin stuffs, but that's NEC.

Kelp Lined armor is purplish on DE females, and has many different colors you'd have to check out the "Fashion" section on Wiki to see all the variations because it looks quite different on all races.

Really that's the only thing I can recall for mages and it definitely does not have a plate look.

I like fashionquesting on P99, and this irritates me I cannot think of any purple plate for mages haha.

I remember the seller saying get your caster plate look but it was a few months ago. That new search tool Loramin helped get up is absolutely great but I don't know all the colors except when i see someone wearing something in EC.
Lets make it any obtainable (non raid preferrably bought) purple caster look set.

In short, that. If you actually do it and are feeling kind maybe also edit the category pages to say that they are purple-ish tints or something, to help future Fashion Questors.

The thing is, the tuic you linked has the "Mardi Gras" color tint (Mardi Gras = a shade of purple). There are some other items with that same tint, but not plate ones: http://wiki.project1999.com/index.php?title=Category:Fashion:_Mardi_Gras&action=edit&redlink=1. There is one robe though, http://wiki.project1999.com/Robe_of_the_Bonecaster.

If you want plate or another item, ie. if you want "purple but not that purple", you will have to check other categories for purple-shaded tints ... or just google "EQ purple plate armor" or something like that. The good news is that if you can find even a single item with the right color you can click it's fashion color category at the bottom to find any other items like it.

If you find purple plate armor for mages, share it. I want to see what it is, I honestly never seen that on p99.

Maybe take an Efreeti BP from PoSky, then fumble around at the wires connecting your screen to your computer until it gets a purple tint.

Yes I have to conclude that I must of read wrong or it was advertised wrong. All I can find is that chain look for DE casters my daughter was bummed. But (theres always a but thats why were sitting) after crafting a full visible set of cobalt drake armor and applying an arctic wyvern head for that polar bear goodness on a female barb she is very happy again. I don't have a good answer for you, but I can explain how to get it.


Go to http://wiki.project1999.com/index.php?title=Special:Categories&offset=&limit=500 and make a list of all of the "purple" categories. Some of these are obvious (Purple or Purple Heart) while others are less obvious (Plum or Clairvoyant)
Go to http://wiki.project1999.com/Special:MultiCategorySearch
Set the first category to "Wizard Equipment" (or "Enchanter Equipment" or whatever)
Set the second category to "Fashion: Purple" or "Fashion: Clairvoyant", or any other purple category.
Set the third category to "Chest" (since you're looking for a tunic)
Look at your search results; if you don't find what you want go back to step #4 and try a different purple color category


A couple of notes: first, some of the color categories are so small that you might just want to click directly on them in step #1 instead of going through the rest of the steps.

Second, I realize that step #1 is difficult/painful. One thing you could do to make things easier for future FashionQuesters is that you could add a "Purple Tints" category to the category pages of purple tints. In other words, edit them and add this to the bottom:

[[Category: Purple Tints]]

I've already done this with the four categories I mentioned here: http://wiki.project1999.com/Category:Purple_Tints. If you find any other purple categories and add that code to them, future people looking for purple armor will be able to just go to that page to easily see what categories they should consider.
