I don't get this. I only see posts or wiki entry about spells that can bind.

I am lvl 4 and I ran to a different city. Do I have to interact with someone to do a dance to bind myself here?

Greetings. You need to send a /tell to a player that is of sufficient level to bind you. INT classes (Wiz, Mage, Enc, Nec) get the bind spell at level 12, and WIS classes (Shm, Clrc, Dru) get it at level 14.

Warning, sending a tell to a level 12 wizard will not instantly bind you! Not only do you have to talk to them, but you actually have to meet! and then group! Then he has to target you! (this is getting very intimate) then cast a spell on you that makes you feel bound to the area.

This game will make you mad.

I wish you luck in your quest to interact with somebody ingame. I'm still bound in Innothule because I'm afraid of strangers.

Getting mad is the path to passion and addiction.
One day you will forget to bind, and die very far. And stay calm. On your way back to your corpse you will aggro a new crap and die again. And start getting a little bit mad. This is where the fun begins :)

I am sure that is what changed the MMO scene and drove these otherwise upstanding and heterosexual members of society to the basement.
