Hi there!

i am just wondering does this server use the "old skool" wolf models for the druid and ranger spells? i really miss those white wolves and would like to see them running about again like the old days! cheers

To my knowledge, yes it does.

yes.. if you are new and need help setting up the client follow the link in my signature :)

The only things that have new models are Necro black skellys (lvl 30+ pet i think)

My wolves are still really big, and my skellys die standing up.

It's not the client, he hasn't updated the wolf and skele models.
I still haven't bothered to do this.

On that note, is there a way to turn on luclin character models?

Why would you want to do such a thing?

Use forum search.. there is a way but it will break some things... and as someone else said.. why would you want to do that? lol they look terrible.

The human model is way better, and a few others. It's not for me though. Trying to get people who have never played classic eq into this is much harder when you show them what it looks like.

The models are terrible and the animations are even worse. When I saw the early Luclin model footage I thought it was someone's 3d art class project and was just fooling around.

I would say the Luclin models do look better from a technical standpoint, but it's the artistic style that puts so many people off them; they just don't have the same flavour as the old models. The crap animations certainly don't help either.

Yea, I think the troll/ogre models are definitely easier on the eyes as well.

People who are classic aficionados typically have this hate for the luclin models. They're not that bad. There are tremendous improvements in at least some of the Luclin models.

I can't believe the conversation has devolved into this for like the 100th time.
