you've played p1999 on?
Netbook? Tablet? I know someone was able to get something working with a blackberry a while back.
What did you need to do to get it to work?

Couldn't imagine playing on a touchscreen device other than to auction perhaps.
Soandso shouts, "Train to zone!"
Bobzor tells the party, "Oh shi- LOLZ"
You tell the party, "Ffffffuuuuuuuuuuu"
- Desperately try to run to ZL with shoddy, half-assed, rigged touchscreen controls.
Couldn't really kite either.
Lol?
Blackberry maybe.. At least there are physical keys.

It plays on the Dell Latitude 2000 series netbooks. They are pretty damn small. Tested it out on a 2100 running EQ from a thumb drive. Not exactly the smoothest and reading text sucks but it plays just fine. The game is so old it will play on pretty much anything that's still running today. It's really about how small of a screen size can you handle. The netbook has a 10.1-inch screen and 1024 x 576 resolution.

I played on a thinkpad x100e. 11.6in ultraportable. I did have a mouse hooked up. Ran fine; made the fan blow like hell though.

netbooks are complete shit, terrible waste of money, dont bother gaming on that garbage. Be a real man and get at least a 13inch laptop that will have proper cooling, cd drive, full keyboard, and a readable screen with some reasonable hardware thrown in.

I have a 17 inch latptop. Even a 13 inch I think would be too big. I like the size on the netbooks. Just small enough. I just need it to be able to play eq barely and play tv shows on hulu.
I use my phone all the time to browse the internet. I don't see screen size as being that big a deal.

A challenger appears!
It plays fine on a samsung netbook that i have.
But I agree with Knuckle, wouldn't want it to be the main machine I use.

'
But its mostly for watching shows and playing eq while im waiting at work. need to go in early to be on time now because I have to take the train.

My brother leveled his druid from 1-50 on an Acer Aspire One netbook using the touch-pad exclusively. Dr00d = EZ mode.
I've played on my Acer Aspire One as well and the game runs flawless. Might chug a little in kunark unless you turn down the clip plane though.
