Who is closest to beating P99?

My opinion on P99 is that it is the very best of EQ in that the focus is still on very difficult Epic Quests and alt twinking. It is in that sweet spot where Epics are still valuable and not to the point where many of them are rendered useless (Luclin). So in order to beat P99 I feel you must complete every epic quest and reach 60. I know some of our more compulsive members have been on the server for 8 years now. Who to the best of your knowledge is closest to beating P99 (AKA finishing every class epic quest and reaching 60 and on every class)???

The Chardok exploitation produced a lot of level 60's, surely there is someone close to beating the game

I myself have completed the Monk Epic and the Cleric Epic and have 3 level 60s (well, one is 59 but close now). I know this pales in comparison to some people so I was curious to see if there are any known P99ers who have 4, 5...6? Epics completed.

YOU don’t. There is no way to beat the game. It was a round about way of asking a question that he was curious about. I’m also curious about it so I say bravo and I’d like to see what some people have in their stable of characters.

This just means Llandris bowed to my superior force of will, logic, and moxie. He clearly saw that I -should- win the fight. I hoped he would have tried to win, because I had many things prepared for that fight I never had to use. Sadly, it was a very disappointing fight and I didn't sink below 10% hp. Victory is victory, even if it was boring.

But to answer Spyder's question, there's a guy in my guild with a metric fuckton of high level toons. I don't want to "out" him by giving his name ... plus he has so many toons that giving just one name wouldn't help ... but I promise he exists and is an Anon member. Anyhow, this guy has maybe five (maybe more?) clerics with epics setup in various zones, plus numerous characters of other classes. I would not be surprised at all to learn that he has one of each with an epic, and by your standards he may in fact have already "won" EQ.

I was farming Squallslither, who drops an instant click healing + Rune potion for a total of around 400 HP at level 60.

I had about 10 of those on Filbus for the duel, as well as 6 Complete Heal charges and 40 doses (12k hp) of stinging wort pot.

I have 4 epic'd characters and 2 of which are on the more exclusive side and pretty proud of my accomplishments !

I feel youve beaten eq when you log on and think to yourself "what should I do today in norrath?" If it's not obvious then you've probably beaten the game on a personal level

I have all Epics except Shadowknight. Just lack the desire to finish off SK one. Have a bagged Soul Leech, Blade of Abrogation and a friend to MQ Decreipt Hide.

Would need to PL my SK up to 46 for the turnin which takes a day or two so haven't really felt motivated to cross off final epic. Maybe on a slow weekend I might do this.

I'd log in to help and/or PL you just to make this happen. Send me PM here or have your people contact my people. After all's said and done maybe some screen shots of all of them too for posterity.

When I was in Rampage he completed the last epic he needed for "All human classes with epic" Although not all of his chars where 60 at the time - been awhile since Rampage days not to much of a stretch of the imagination to say he couldn't get a shaman epic and 60 in that time span (the only class that cant be human)

Hokushin has far from BiS gear, he quit while he was ahead but many people have better gear now.

Also any gimp with a bag full of wort pots can solo ragefire. Last time I killed him I got healed for 4k total, might even be able to solo him without clickies if I'm fully buffed.
