View Full Version : 2 computers 2 diff charictor selections

I have recently installed eq on my old computer it has a radeon 300 graphics card on board and a usb wireless adapter. window7 sp2
the other computer runs fine
when i log into the new computer it has a chariictor creation screen with a bunch of charictors with weird error messages for names with unknown zone unknown class
when i log in the other computer i have 2 chaictos i made tha work
I have reinstalled many times even formated the same thing upated directx to 11and tried diff resalutions

Have you tried simply copying the EverQuest folder from the working computer to the non-working one?

No I have not tried that they were both installed from the same zip but i will try it

It depends on which hi skin is loaded.

U I sorry. While logged into a character /load should bring up the selection window.

I cannot get to a char in game and how can i update i thought it could only be this version and not update it

Ah, I think I understand. https://www.project1999.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2555654&postcount=1 Most recent patch; install it.
You do not have the most recent files, as provided by the Start Up Guide thread. Either grab those or copy the working version's install over to replace the broken one's.
If still nothing works, reply with the exact error message after trying the above.
