You had your chance guys but I'm canceling my subscription. I will also be starting a class action suit with all those who want to join me in getting our money back.

Onwards to Rift!

Hope you're not really buying RIFT. It is the next Aion. If I could get my money back for it, I would. It is one of the most boring games I've ever played.

I don't understand this thread.

It's in server chat, and you've supplied a picture showing the purchasing of Rift and you are attempting to get money back from who exactly? Nilbog? You donated, it's pretty stupid to think you can donate to some cause and then want your money back whenever you get upset, I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. Rift (Trion games)? Why is that in server chat?

Does not compute.

It is good to see that classic EQ appeals to all demographics, including robots that do not understand human concepts such as sarcasm and humor.

I've always been of the impression that sarcasm doesn't show very well on the internet and that the writer must take extra care, given the circumstances, to make the reader fully aware that his post was facetious. At the very least liberal use of italics helps.

P.S. I am not a robot no matter how hard I may wish I were.

It was extremely obvious from the title. Im sorry. You are a robot.

Go compute some algorithms, tin-can.

sarcasm is best communicated on the internet using the "~" symbol. as in, "this thread was made by a smart guy~" the wave of the tilde symbolizes the wave of a sarcastic tone.

honestly - i am still confused as to what you meant. So I have to agree with McBard here.

Please try making your jokes more understandable in the future...or at least funny....

maybe that was the problem....it wasn't funny?

I guess the developers have done a study on how to interact with users and suppose also that a better treatment results in more and more donations .. but reading some GMs sometimes I doubt it.

DOUBLE NEGATIVE

COMPUTING AS AFFIRMATIVE STATEMENT

The title lacked an "OMG" and maybe some "!!!11!!1!!!"

Maybe that would have assisted the sarcasm impaired.

COMPUTING AS AFFIRMATIVE STATEMENT

Hmm I disagree. The italics and the "/sarcasm" offset one another, and so the postscripts message comes through loud and clear!
