password forgotten

When I try to log on to the game it indicates that my password is incorrect.

What is the procedure to recover my password or create a new one?

I think this depends on how old your account is and if you ever switched over to the new process on P99. You may have to go to the EQEmulator site and try the recovery options there if there are any.
