I remade 3 characters in the past 2 months or so
My ranger (wood elf points into str into a human with points into sta)
My druid (half elf to woodelf)
My bard (wood elf points into cha/dex to half elf with points into sta)
All twinked to hell, all with knowledge on how and where to play.
Bard is 58 thanks to swarming
Druid is 52 thanks to DaP and constant glades
Ranger is 35 but .. well its a ranger.
And I dont feel right about all of this crap. Almost to where my first bard was, surpassed my old druid and my ranger is.. about the same level I guess I dunno.
Whats going on? Why do I feel like going back to the old characters?

Try an <Auld Lang Syne> character, repent.

I lack the conviction and discipline to do that. Plus I am saving up that level of dedication required incase they make a new server comes out. or another eqlive progression/time lock server

Changing your ranger into a human was a big nono. Human inferior race

Old characters are the ones you wanted to play. At this point you're ticking off a checklist, it seems, rather than actually enjoying yourself.
Also, if you're really into these classes then why not go to unconventional places? Sure, it might the be the fastest way but you've already done it, haven't you?

why?
min/max. For the bard it was starting stat regret, so went half elf, zek deity for that racial gear. Same with the ranger, starting stat regrets. For the druid it was a WIS thing, went half elf for the little yellow bikini but all that extra wisdom allowed me to use raw hp/mana gear for even more stats. like black sapphire crap, vel jade rings, etc while still maintaining 200+ wis

its because you surrendered to great cuckery with each change. your original choices were commendable. Your revised choices were small and objectively wrong. You regret this.
Except human ranger. Of Karana.
Unmistakable!

People need to understand that stats are not meaningful or interesting or important in EQ. The only choice you make that matters is how your character looks.
No Troll or Ogre then. Just dark elf or wood elf female.
