Iksar Bonus AC

Does anyone know about the intricacies of the Iksar AC bonus?


How much is it at 60?
What type of AC is it? (Worn? Avoidance? Other?)
How does it interact with AC cap?


I'm guessing nobody aside from the devs has an answer for any of these, but I just thought I'd ask to make sure.

Wasn't that was the SoL/PoP era code which made shields ignore soft cap?

And didn't live racial add to avoidance instead of mitigation?

Nothing in eq makes sense, less so in an emu!

I firmly believe shield AC works as intended here.

Are you saying there is no AC shield bonus on P99 or that there is a bonus granted?

According to Demonstar55 the turns from using a shield to grant you additional AC separate from the soft cap was practically a PoP addition so should not be 'intended' to work here, would just be viewed as any old piece of armor in the formula.

What leads you to believe either way how shield AC works here, parses on mob boss fights? Be interested to see the data.

Knowing classic EQ, I bet Iksars get a whole extra 2 AC from levels 1 - 50, and then 4 AC from 51 - 60.
