Started up today after a long break from EQ.

Did the first 2 progression servers there and had a good-ish time. Rules were weird and the bot mage groups were insane.


So I finally decided to come here. Lol real eq is harder than I remember. being lvl 4, poor and semi lost is harsh lol

Yes I love this area as well, When I started back on live in 99 I rarely went to the other side toward Freeport. I noticed back then (at least on my server) that the game world was so big and travel back and forth in the first few weeks was so limited that qeynos, freeport and Gfay developed slightly different cultures. :)

Besides we had Pyzjn, Hadden, Varsoon… and the most evil NPC of all... Holly Windstalker seriously how could you pack anymore lore into a few tiny zones
