I have Lesser Shielding from (https://wiki.project1999.com/Cobalt_Vambraces)
I have Spirit Armor from (https://wiki.project1999.com/Shieldstorm)

I just got on my alt to deliver to my main: Turtle Skin (https://wiki.project1999.com/Lodizal_Shell_Boots)

I want to buy:
Guard (https://wiki.project1999.com/Guardians_Mace)

Which of these stack? and what is the rule for telling this?

If you look at the spell info on the wiki, the numbers on the left side under the details section that explain the benefit should be the spell slot.

Spirit armor > turtle skin
Guard > spirit armor
Lesser shielding should stack with all the above.

(I'm 90% positive this right, but it's been awhile).

When in doubt, test them yourself.

Details
1 : Increase Max Hitpoints by 20 (L8) to 30 (L18)
2 : Increase AC by 6 (L8) to 9 (L18)

Details
4 : Increase AC by 11 (L16) to 13 (L24)

Details
4 : Increase AC by 9 (L14) to 10 (L18)

Details
4 : Increase AC by 18 (L29) to 19 (L34)

the numbers on the left are slots. bigger stat number beats smaller in each slot.

e: fixed stupid phrasing

You can check on lucy for spell blocked... It's probably not fully accurate with p99 but they got the exact info you are looking for...

Might run into a class problem with the guardians mace

The Shielding line of spells don't stack with the shaman's Talisman HP buffs like http://wiki.project1999.com/Talisman_of_Kragg

The most important thing to say here is that:

You're a warrior, you can't get the proc from guardian's mace.

:D

Maybe he means warding star, which is the old guardian's mace.

Nah I'm just dumb and didn't read it properly.

Thought I had it years later on live but now I think about it, I think I had a same graphic mace from an ldon. Sane buff icon too iirc.

Well might still buy for aforementioned bard!

Hmm so I guess the only variable is:

“Does the difference between spirit armor and Turtle skin get cancelled out by the decreased damage I'll do and increased damage I'll take from using the Shield storm instead of my reaver while I wait for it to proc...”

Kinda hard to quantify... Guess I'll leave the boots on bard for a while, even though it wasn't optimum purchase for him and he's starting to get to the level where he's not on the front lines and benefiting so much...

min maxing that hard is usually more effort than it's worth
