Kunark release time

I was wondering on kunark launch day, will the changeover be when the powers-that-be get home from work that day or is there a sick day in somone's future?

I would love to know the exact launch time of Kunark expansion. Im in Europe and it would be great to know when I can log on to create my Iksar main.

We plan to have a live dynamic scavenger hunt type quest as the kick off leading towards the unlock of Kunark. This event will begin some time between 6-7 PM Eastern. Depending on how quickly people complete the necessary steps of this quest and completing each phase will determine exactly when Kunark will become available, but I suspect it will last 2 to 3 hours.

As I understand it, the scavenger hunt will be like midnight 1am CET. And Kunark probably opening around 3-4am :( Just glad that it's on a weekend.

I've heard it said that names are reserved for a period of more than a week after a character is deleted. Can you confirm that this is not true?

They only wipe out inactive level ones. I have the name Kobra (Kommander) set aside for my Iksar on a lvl 12 monk that i decided would be cooler with a tail. I think getting your name holder past lvl 5 is safe

When has p1999 done this? I know Live did sometimes but I haven't heard about it being done here.

When you delete a char you can reuse the name immediately.
