Ear: Essence and Black sapphire
Ring: Djarn and Velium Wedding
Body: Full SS
Back: CoF
Waist: Mithril Plated Girth
Shoulder: Barbed Dragonscale Shoulder
Face: Eyepatch Shadows
Neck: +6 all
Range: Idol thorned

Q: Other than raid gears, what are the droppable gears I can buy to upgrade, in order of impact? I like to be cost efficient and not shed 50k for minor upgrades. For example, going from Fingerbone hoop to Living Thunder.

Ear: Fingerbone hoop next? Is Living thunder next in line?
Belt: Blood runed girdle next? Is Belt of Great Turtle the next in line?
Range: Eye of Nerandi next?
Face: Faceguard of Bento next?
Shoulder: 55hp/55mana dragon mantle next?

My sta is at 190 unbuffed so most of the upgrades above won't increase my HP.
Example my cheap mithril plate girth has 9 sta translates to over 50 hp. If I spent 15k on Blood runed girdle it only increase my str and AC but lower HP. If i get belt of great tutle i only get the worn effect but less stats overall. Same deal with 55 hp mantles, since dragonscale shoulders give 9sta is also around 50hp. Same deal with Faceguard bentos vs. 9sta on Eyepatch, etc.

Guess my question ultimately is, is it really worth spending all that plat to upgrade when my sta doesn't max out whether i'm buffed or unbuffed?

Primal Essence is an extra 20 stamina when you can find a shaman with the VP hammer

if you're level 60 you should go for quest items like

9th coldain ring
bracer of benevolence
eyepatch of plunder

Epop seems like a nice option, happy to see I wasn't the only one thinking it was a nice idea :)

Eyepatch of plunder yes, but I doubt I can afford nor can I get to camp it.

Bracer of benevolence yes.

Any droppable significant upgrades that I'm missing? (no more than 50k)

Rather than nitpick each slot, just live by the logic that until you can get 255 stamina while buffed you should just continue upping your +sta gear. Once you pass that mark (205 unbuffed with Riotous Health will get you 255), you can start favoring +HP gear as long as your worn Stam doesn't drop below 205 when you replace it with +HP gear.

Looking at your gear I would recommend getting a Thurg helm. It has almost identical stats to the SS one except it swaps +Sta for your current +Dex.

Barbed Dragonscale Boots > SS boots as well.

Now you've got another 10 worn stamina so you're at 200 stam unbuffed and we found you another 5hp.

If you can manage to get your hands on a Vindi BP you'll be in business.

Thanks I guess I'll go back to Thurg helm, man the whole time I thought SS helm is better....

If you can do Sky, work on the warrior sky belt quest. It might take 2 weeks or it might take 8 months, but it's amazing. It's the most realistic 41% haste item for most people. Even the most casual raid guilds can get these.

If you do get the belt, sell your CoF for a set of Blue cards and a COTH to PoM to get the cloak of confusion. With your stamina, it's probably worth like 130ish HP, so basically amazing.

Bentos faceguard is amazing, as is the eyepatch of plunder. Living thunder earring is very good but very expensive and I'd settle for fingerbone hoop, but you don't need multiple items giving +see invisible. If you get Bentos, you might as well just keep the +35 hp JC earring

Another long-term upgrade I'd get is Strength of the Elements. Phinny, Kozz, and Yael are basically 1 group content and if you're dedicated and have some people you can rely on to show up and kill them, you can get this +100 hp shoulder.

Get Infestation and Frostbringer if you don't already, because those are also pretty easy to get and ideal for tanking.

Swap out that CoF for a Spiked Seahorse Hide Belt and get a Hiero cloak.

Spiked seahorse has solid stats, 2% less haste, and opens up back slot.

I’m surprised cloak of flames hasn’t come down in price.

Hm.. I still say best bet is CoF back slot
Then for belt get that SK/WAR only belt.
Weapons if your not rich Frostbringer, go pay someone 10k for that crappy weapon in dragon necropolis or get a free skean from steamfont.
Rings Velium Fire opal (+65).
Earring of Essence and Black Sapphire Electrum earring.

http://wiki.project1999.com/Magelo_Blue:Sakuragi is about as good as it gets without real raid gear. Specifically you might want a Cloak of Confusion (+15 STA is nice if you aren't a fatty, and the resists don't hurt) and if you buy a few dwarf heads you can get a Warlord hat/bracer without wrecking your fashion quest. The Avatar of War hat is great and tradeable but I guess it's 500k+.

I would not underestimate AC personally. I've done some parsing and as far I can tell, AC works and Sakuragi with ~1400 AC gets hit for max quite a bit less than a Coldain warrior with 1200 (say 25-30% max hits vs 35-40% max hits from Derakor). So personally I would rather have Cloak of Confusion + Skyshrine boots (42 AC, 19 STA, 70HP) vs a Hiero cloak + Barbed Boots (31 AC, 14 STA, 105 HP). I would guess the warrior ac softcap is at least 1500 displayed and probably with a high return.

All that being said, if I were you I'd go for a Bioluminescent Orb. It's disgusting how good that thing is in Halls of Testing. I had lots of arguments (once I feared one of Eashen's guards from the entrance into WTOV, heheh) but if you can convince your monk to pull mobs directly on top of you and maybe take one round of melee, it's amazing. Even just one instant proc basically makes Knights obsolete there.
