Secret room in PoM?

Wonder if anyone knows what the purpose of this is and possibly if one can get there somehow.

if you are in the basement and you are shrunken or in a gnome illusion you can look through the walls and see this tiny little room separate from everything else deep below the basement. there appears to be an elf warrior pictured on the wall in this room as well as some kind of message written on the wall but it's too far to read. anyone know what this is and if one can get there?

I know of the room but never found any hidden clicks to get to it. Most likely just a GM room with coordinates on the walls, several zones have these

Most zones have these, you can't just navigate to them via exploring. They list coordinates for devs to reference easily. There's also other easter eggs - I'm fond of the textures behind the Droga zoneline (inside).

From what I can remember, these rooms were put there by devs when the zones were being created, for reference points. They are also handy to summon players to when dealing with petitions since npc's cannot aggro players there. Also can be used as a time out room for melee's :p

There’s one in the Qeynos aqueducts. I was a kid when live first dropped I didn’t know how to play so I guess I pissed some people off and my character was “locked” in this room so to speak as a time out essentially. My dad had to petition the GM to let me out explaining I know not of what I do lmao

I like this stuff too. And there was a lot of cool stories back in the day. I remember a long discussion about secret fire pots in an area in neriak 3rd gate or foreign quarters that’s not accessible.

On live I fell through world in GD and was warped in such room where I had to wait for a gm to send me out... I don't remember an elf, but there were coordinate on the walls....

You can warp past zone lines to see some of these rooms if your framerate is low enough. Some kind of client/server miscommunication of one or neither recognizing you as colliding with the zone trigger, and you continue running like nothing happened.

I got stuck in the DN one on this server a little while ago. Blood Guard and Anonymous were killing Zlandicar, and I died, took a battle Rez, crashed, had a hard time logging back in, finally got in, and when I finally loaded in, I was in a crazy weird isolated room that had writing on the walls, naked and alone. Talk about realism in a video game!

I'll see if I can find some screenshots that I took.

There is this one I recommend, because you can run around the zones but also no clip through them (but it doesn't work on my version of Windows 8 for some reason): http://eqclassic.de/wiki/EverQuest_Zone_Viewer

And the one I'm using now is S3D Zone Exporter, also cool but you can only no clip and zoom out of the maps.

No secret room in HS, but there is one in Neriak Commons (I got the hint from the bottom of the chat log in that screenpic) :D
