I haven't had a good slice of pizza is more than a year. The travesty they call pizza where I live has toppings like: potato corn mayo, shrimp seaweed mayo, shit like that.

I would even settle for garbage like Little Caesar's if I had the option.

Really spoiled in Pacific Northwest for pizza. It wasn't the case even 5 years ago, but it exploded. Proper Neapolitan to tavern-style Chicago, to Detroit to family-friendly American, we have it pretty good. Plus, it is nice to support local yokels as opposed to PepsiCo, that dumbass fraud papa john and Dominoes. Props to Little Caesar for getting away with whatever the fuck that is for 35+ years. Jesus

Usually frozen pizzas are awful and Wal-mart's food is even worse but they started making some good frozen pizza's under the Sam's Choice brand, it's like $5 for the stuffed crust one. Those pizzas > Little Ceasers

I put on a lot of weight during this time, but I decided to make 3 pan pizzas one month. The first pizza I ever tried to make from scratch was a semi-edible exercise in artistic licence which taught me the difference between whole wheat and AP flour. The second pizza was absolutely perfect with crispy edges and chicken fajita toppings. It was basically the best thing ever. The 3rd one didn't work out as well and was just kinda :(

I'd say the experience taught me a great deal about cooking and life in general, but I honestly forgot it ever happened. But yes, pizza corps are fucking you over hard. Bag of flour, some activated yeast, sugar, tomato sauce, cheese. Very cheap and you can make enough pizzas to consider a gym membership with a 20 dollar investment.

As far as price to taste ratio goes Little Caesars can hang with anyone. It is not the best tasting pizza I've ever had though.
