Hi all,
It's been a while since I've played, maybe a 18 months or so, but due to other friends being active, I got that mad EQ/P99 itch. I was last guilded with Infernus but I don't think they're active any longer.

So, to my question, and I'm sure one that has been asked many times before; what are some active off-peak guilds, especially around the Australian time zone? If I recall, there was some overlap with Europa and Omni (and I believe they are still active).

(Oh, my friends are in the US, so we don't have overlapping play times)

Lafael you disgust me. You need to just move to the US and stop with the Aussie nonsense already. Apparently it's not a real country anyway, just a hoax made up by NASA and the lizard people.

Join Eternal Sovereign. Then you can be part of the super cool Aegis Alliance who have people all over the world. Plus, you'll get to see my sexy Erudite in an orange robe (or not).

Of course Australia isn't real, it's just a stage setup.

You mentioned Material Continuum, what are they all about?

MC is a solid group of folks and a member of Aegis. The leader, Shalarrah, is an Aussie as well. I think they have a few more Aussies but not positive. Reach out to her and see if you guys will be a good fit. Can give you discord info if you want.

Not to hijack the thread, but since I've been wondering could someone name all the members of the Aegis alliance and maybe which ones are casual/leveling friendly besides ALS?

Infernus are still kicking around, mostly the Asia crew left these days I believe.

Aegis Alliance:

Auld Lang Syne (Different play style see our custom rules)
Material Continuum
Eternal Sovereign
Homeland Security
Death and Taxes
Misfits of Marr

I would say that all of these guilds are casual and leveling friendly. The purpose of our alliance is just that - casual guilds that get together and raid. When we raid, we raid pretty hard - but no one forces you to raid and we have a loot system based on your own man hours per characters.

While ALS is a bigger guild than all the rest I can tell you, as an officer of ALS and someone who has been on p99 a lot longer than ALS has existed, that my alts have lots of fun with and in some of these guilds. You can't go wrong with any of them.

Feel free to reach out to me or the officers / leaders of any of these guilds and I'm sure we would be happy to talk to you more!

For MC I would see Shalarrah / Fascino
For HS I would see Minnimee or Fragmented
For Eternal Sovereign I would talk to Deine, who has already commented in this this thread.
For Death and Taxes I would speak to Feydain (find him on Feybank a lot) or Prismatica
For Misfits of Marr I would speak to Elonwy or Darkknite

It sounds like OP would be a good fit for many of these guilds (especially MC because he is an Aussie and they have several Aussies)

Hey Baa! Ah ok. No offence to them, but I recall the difficulties of the language barrier.

Many Aussies playing? Where did all the other Infernus members go?

Much of the guild is playing on Agnarr, however some have started to trickle back.

I played for a month or two, but too busy with work to really commit. Now I mostly lurk around EQ and slowly work through 59 on my enc.

Nice nice. I've been flat out busy traveling with work but am hoping to get back in for some fun
