Will be buying a laptop off craigslist for p99. There are loads of cheap laptops, but I was curious if anyone has suggestions on 15 vs 17 inch? Also, is windows 10 a nightmare? I've been using windows 7 for the past 6 years and am still happy with it.

I'm going to retire playing on my desktop so I can just play in bed. That way I don't have to get up. I can aspire to be the fat vampire guy that gets roasted by Wesley Snipes in BLADE.

I've used Windows 10 on two systems. First one didn't run P99 for some reason, would get kicked to the login screen after a resolution change. After much digging on the forums I couldn't find the answer and nobody else seemed to know what was causing it.

Second one was fine... lol.

Before that I ran it on a win8.1 netbook and it ran fine except for raids (very slow fps, but go figure, its a netbook)

Before that it was on a Windows 7 PC, and I never had any issues. If you can install windows 7 and know what's going on, then do that <3

I wouldn’t worry so much about the screen size but how well the keyboard works. An extra 2” isn’t gonna make you a baller, if you are spending FB/CL Money.

I had a 17 for a long time. I started to find it too bulky to be mobile and was pretty heavy to carry around. I went to a 15 inch and it's a noticeable positive change.

One thing about laptop screens vs PC monitors... screenshot quality. I took some great screenshots on my adventures on PC. The UI was all over the screen on the netbook (under 15 inches for sure).

I'd say 17" inch, but no bigger. My current laptop is a 19" and I regret it. It was same price as the 17" at the time so I thought, why not? Too big to take anywhere so it just sits at home and functions as a shitty desktop.

Also, depending on how old it is, you may want to think about 32bit vs 64bit windows versions. I had a laptop that ran smoothly on 32bit windows. Had a free upgrade to a 64bit pro version, installed and performance tanked. I currently use windows 10 and have no problem with p99.

Should impose a minimum ping of 250-300 too. Not sure on the technology for that to happen but shit would be classic ^^

I had a 17" up until recently (switched to 15") and I must say, it feels much more comfortable. If I need a larger monitor, I'll just switch to the desktop.

Agree with others. I have enjoyed my most recent 15 inch far more than I ever did my larger laptop.

My laptop that I play on when not using the desktop is a 17”. As people have said, it’s heavy, but I like the bigger screen.

I only use it when sitting on the couch in the living room with the TV on in the background. Otherwise is the desktop.

i have gotten tired of the 15” Mac Book Pro in my lap for hours and permanently switched to my small 12” Dell Latitude E7250
