How long for IP Exemption typically?

My son and I are interested in playing P1999 together and have requested an exemption for play from the same IP address. However, it has been 3 days and I have no idea if my petition was even put in correctly. How long did yours take if you had one?

do a search. there's a thread like this every week. IP Exemptions are done in batches, and sometimes it can take months. It just depends on when the staff gets around to doing it. There's nothing you can do it make it faster.

Do they expire after a certain time period? Just curious why you would need to put in a 4th or 5th one. I have a pending one as well.

He's probably talking about adding additional accounts to his exemption. Don't create a new post for an exemption that already has a post, it's obnoxious.

We don't box or anything like that. My son has been connecting via my iPad, that my work pays for data. =) Hope this doesn't go on forever, lol.

I'm not worried about it. School starts tomorrow for my kids, so my son won't get to play with me until at least Sunday night, given our schedule. I jumped back on my bard and joined a guild and am leveling to 10 alone for now. So, I'd say it's at least another week before we even have the opportunity to play together. It is what it is, I'm just glad to show him how MMOs use to be. It makes it even better that this is classic. He reached level 5, died, and deleveled, and was thrown for a minute. LOL. I was just smiling at him like, "Yup..., Now you know!"

This is accurate, turn around is 2 weeks on average.

The main problem staff has with with IP exemptions is the person making the request doesn’t read and makes the request with only half of the required information.

How long does it take to respond to said exemptions that need more information?

It's been 2 months. I have provided all the information and I am still waiting. What else do you want from us?
