Bard charming spot for lvl 55-58

Am I missing any good leveling spots if I prefer to charm pairs of mobs? I do suits in WL (good if you can get 6's), geos in WL (okay if you can avoid shamans. Some Geo's get sow too, which is dispellable via slow song). CS wyverns are mainly green to me at 56.

Anywhere else I could try? I've never been to the bear pits, or the Hole. Are those viable? Is there a space in velks I can do this w/ sow?

I've tried DN spiders... They Regen some health when they translocate.

Thoughts?

KC, CoM 2nd floor, or try skyfire if you want a challenge. Quite fun once you get the hang of it. Also HS basement probably doable never tried it myself tho

I remember a buddy of mine piling up 4 corpses at a time before asking for a res in skyfire :)

And I can't face tank a blue con froglok wizard in Seb, even after I spend 5 minutes draining his mana pool. Something about that seems wrong... If I had a wizard toon and tried to melee something else, I'd get crushed.

So how would you tank a mob as a bard? I don't have a trak bp.

I'm pretty sure the casters here are OP (eg. they cast spells live mobs didn't) ... which is saying something because casters on live were already OP with just the spells they did have.

I'll second the Skyfire idea. It's fun and pretty safe because you can run to OT ZL in a pinch. Also, you chance some pretty good spell drops.

Do you have to use your aoe snare to swarm? I haven't learned to do that yet.

Agree with first part. At 60, since it is still a cash camp in today's P99, I disagree with the second part b/c w/ level 60 exp about 15 kills is 1%. :D

you should interrupt casters using mez, you want them to cast that 6 second ice comet so you can interrupt it after 5ish seconds

you do not want to drain it making it melee you 90% as well as a melee mob

when you get into problems, start singing mez, sit and camp out

pretty hard to die if done correctly, its slow and steady

I think most bard swarm the spiders in DN 57-60

No idea on charm soloing up to that point though. Maybe those two or three dudes in Neriak Foreign Corridor?

WL suits and velk spiders. Velk is nice because you wont be KoS there as long as you havent killed bob or velk
