It's a double edged sword though isn't it. If you unban a guild early that sets an interesting precedent where the rules aren't really taken seriously.

This server and the enjoyment of rules at all levels.... there's a positive correlation there ^^

The GMs made the right decision.

They volunteer their time so I can relive simpler times from my childhood where there were only two genders and my uncle was way, way too close to me.

Is it really unbanning a guild early if its blatantly obvious the ban was overkill in the first place though? Technically its just bringing the ban back to where it should be.

That isn't what people will remember.

People will remember that a guild got taken off a ban early (the rest being smallprint/unimportant)...and therefore there's a chance whatever the circumstances that a guild banned in the future can expect to have a verdict overturned on that basis.

You're right, the right thing definitely shouldn't be done because other people may try to take advantage of the GM's. Totally makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
