<Asgard> v4.0 Recruitment Thread

I finally have more time to play and getting better with giant projects at work slowing down. To that end, I am currently starting to recruit to create <Asgard> v4.0. Will start off slow just like any other versions in the past and slowly speed things up using the same founding principle of no drama (Asgard TM) just some fun. The old thread was closed and don't want to retype everything but for your reference here it is.

Just like any other versions that we started, it was mostly me and Puurty/Emarald. Right now it's mostly just me playing leveling my druid Artawolf and her logging in to res/port me when things go wrong :)

Alts and low levels are welcome as long as it never interferes with Asgard's founding principles and you clearly indicate that before joining.

For now it's just mostly for fun and chat but as history shows every version of Asgard bloomed into a massive great fusion of casual play and hard core raiding coexisting in harmony in one guild with no drama. I stress no drama a lot and clearly because if you join and cause one then you're out. That includes causing drama with anyone else on the server.

No it's not a TMO type alt guild but I will always be TMO at heart. I was a TMO member on live when we were crushing things. It was fun watching people make speculations that it's a TMO alt guild though! Now you know straight from the horse's mouth...

It's moving along just fine, we now have a few people logging in consistently and a few showed interest in playing again that have not played for a while. Even Emarald/Puurty have been logging in and starting to chat up the guild channel. She mostly logs in to buff my druid and do rescue missions when those quad kites don't work out as planned sometimes... Come join us, if you have not played for a while and was thinking of getting back into it even at casual level then this is a good time for it! I'm working on the website to update it and archived almost all previous posts.

still like asgardian way the most. I think it was made with moviemaker, audio is better and I can't seem to get cyberlink to work with me on more advanced editing. it's not the most intuitive software for someone who stumbles around it for fun. I'd suggest a different software. cheers

Definitely gaining strength really fast in version 4.0 without me doing much recruiting, a lot faster than I expected. By the way I'm not taking members from other guilds but can't help it when some old time former members take themselves back to the home of the gods <Asgard> come join us if you feel like having fun and don't have to deal with friend council erm loot councils and less than a chill raiding environment.

Big requirement is don't break server rules, be chill to everyone and don't rule lawyer it's lame seriously it makes me barf. Feel free to defend yourself though when someone tries to do it to you.

Our momentum is exponentially increasing as time passes and we continue to gain strength. Come join us if you don't like internal guild drama and actually like your guild mates. There is a clique I admit for loot, it's the entire guild together as one. It's a semi democracy environment where members actually have some level say so on the guild
's direction except merging with another to form a new one, that will never happen again!.

Couple of major requirements are 1. don't break server rules 2. be cool to everyone including people not in guild. Feel free to defend yourself if you are wronged while abiding by the server rules.

You can be a filthy casual or a hard core raider, there is no special requirements. We will coexist in harmony just like past Asgard versions.

P.S. Shinko, it's NOT a TMO alt guild...

Asgard 4.0 reconstruction started around a month ago and making things happen already. Doing some epic runs and Plane of Hate. Also took out Triggered VS. Didn't expect this to go this fast from a month ago when I was the only one in guild logged in every day. Even got Emarald to start playing when she told me that she's not going back to play Everquest, ever, ever. Good job Asgardians!

We have been mixing in some Plane of Growth into our raids, come join in with the fun. Sure you can get Kael quest armor and basically the same stats but for your fashion quest needs PoG is the place to go! We're mostly prepping to start ToV HoT raids, we're getting there. We still do other planes as well, not abandoning those anytime soon. If you are unguided and normally can't raid because of it, hit me up or other members and we may be doing an open night where those people can roll on drops. Just do /who Asgard all and see where we are at, we're not in the habit of hiding where we are with /role or /anon.

We've been raiding a lot like always (raiding not required in Asgard but people seem to be raid crazy) and we've been hitting everything we can that our crew can handle since many are still leveling up but already doing great things. Here is a bonus to some raiding we've been doing. Congratulations Sunspot on mage epic! Dang that thing is HUGE.

Come hang out with us, we strive to have a drama free environment and loot is based on a dkp formula so you don't have to worry about "who you know" not "what you know" type loot distribution.

Asgard 4.0 Finally started ToV HoT 4 months after rebuilding with a few sub 60s and started out with 21 people and down to 19 at the end. Good job crew! Off to a good start but we still need more warriors and clerics though if you're down to join us and more DPS classes would only improve what we have already. We have a good crew with a unique blend of casual and hard core raiders coexisting in harmony.

We've had countless upgrades from ToV HoT and we're just getting started, the nice thing about not having a billion people in guild is that gear is faster to upgrade for everyone. Congrats everyone on your recent gear upgrades and great job in making things happen even with lower levels and numbers in ToV HoT! One of the biggest gains we've had is a few epics for people, one of them is the very first Asgard 4.0 born ranger epic. Bonus is that shiny lime green Plane of Hate 2.0 ranger armor. Congrats Kraiven!

Gotta give a bump to the Asgard crew in Kael arena yesterday. I pulled mobs out of Statue area to help a buddy get a Rez. Thought I pulled and avoided their group (they were west arena, I pulled to east arena), but a few of them died, then I died trying to help them recover. Was quite the derp on my part, but you guys kindly rezzed me and were really cool about it. <3
