ranger 100%. decent dps, solid utility kit. Druids on the other hand are just a potg dispenser.

Neither, but Druid if forced to choose, because melee are boring. Druid is generally very weak but at least they are strong in places where they can charm and can teleport around.

Totally a Ranger. I like rangers 55+ actually...its just getting there that is the real challenge. Druid at 60 id probably just be a PL bot for friends.

Did druids ever catch up and find their place in groups? I don't really remember them from the Luclin/PoP era either :/

As someone with a 60 Druid, yes I only pull him out for buffs or ports =(

60 ranger would be way more fun IMO

Once AAs went in, they felt waaaay more flexible to play and I never had problems finding groups. I was able to solo heal groups no problem during that era, and nuking was more fun with the spell crits too.

Ranger, id rather be a CoP/SoN bot. I also like giving pets str/SoN for some reason

Druids don't need groups, they need Strings. :o

Their heals became passable for spot healing with the addition of AAs but as of PoP they still were not great at healing, and Cleric AA only widened the gap between them. However, their buffs got really good, and even with all the added mobility from the Nexus and PoK books, their ports were still great for speedy mobilization. I can't say what happened to them after PoP, as I stopped playing after conquering PoTime.
