There is a similar room near blackburrow entrance in qeynos hills its been there since EQ launch in 1999. I was ported there once by a GM while we talked about an issue i had.

Ah you speak of the Befallen banker. That was a trip but I'm not sure I really believe it happened.

I heard that GM's would summon players to the cat-rooms to have little "talks" with them back in the day. Wonder if the Game Masters here ever do the same?

I found a trick to get into Befallen one, showed it to a few people and its probably gotten out now.

The original story behind the cat pictures itself is a developer's cat died while making EQ back in 98, so he left pictures of the cats throughout EQ as a memory thing.
