sold first for 20k. second and i was like.. hmmm these are dropping too readily. Think the drop rate is more than on live, seen ALOT of these, so I settled on 10k for the second one. Id take Bob's offer.

Which is when? According to Allakhazam, it wasn't dropping as of March 22, 2002 -- which is 3 months after the release of Luclin. I don't think anyone really knows when it began dropping in Sebilis, which means it likely won't throughout the duration of this server.

This item no longer drops in game. Back in the day, when Kunark first came out, loot tables were initially very screwed up. Gem encrested rings were actually on the same loot table as forest loops, and dropped off of mountain giants in Frontier Mountains (where I got mine the first week of Kunark's existence). A couple weeks after the release of the game, the loot tables were fixed, and the gem encrested ring dropped no more. (It's rumored to now drop in Veeshan's Peak, but this has not been confirmed, and it certainly doesn't drop in Sebilis)

Pyro is correct this (drop later in seb) business is incorrect. What drops this week is all the server will have, anyone selling this ring at this stage obviously doesn't realize the value this item will hold.

15k for this item is an absolute steal. As mentioned, this ring stops dropping at a point very soon. Then consider that this ring is the highest ac finger slot item in the game for quite a while, or one of them. Then consider that unlike any alternatives for a very long time, this ring is droppable. Then consider that this server will not be progressing beyond velious.

If you are a class that needs to eek ac out of every slot, especially knowing the scope of this server, this ring is huge. As late as luclin or POP this ring was still coming up on searches for upgrades for my sk, and I've seen this item sell for as high as 30k as recently as omens or don because of its twink value. During various, people will break their necks questing and having their guilds help them for one of the most amazing rings in early-eq....it has 2 AC less than the GER. This server ends with that expansion.

Personally, I have no plans to part with mine, unless someone wanted to trade something significant for it. I'm thinking fungi tunic. :)
