RoZ is dead. If you remove boxing the pop would be less than Red. Velious will be the last nail in the coffin. You are pumping time into characters that will never be touched again months from now.

RoZ is far from dead, mass pvp happens a lot. How anyone could still be on this server is the real mystery. Flak speaks the truth. Are the remaining people on this server (18 people) that attached to their gear to leave? RoZ isn’t perfect but it’s a hella fun server with a lot to offer.

I for one won't as long as it is stagnant in Velious. If they ever changed it up, had a new server, maybe item loot, I would come back.

The appeal of RoZ is to experience future expacs beyond the smallest, shittiest expac of all time (Velious).

Also to experience class-balancing that didn't occur until Luclin. I.E. caster itemization and caster raid loot.

Velious was incomplete and just plain bad design. No other way to slice it. You can't leave out offensive casters out of an expac and raid scene and then hand melees 50dmg+ weapons with insane ratios.

For me personally, Planes of Power was peak fun PvP wise outside of 1999-2000 Classic-Kunark ganking. Velious was entirely forgettable and just in the way.

RoZ is total dog shit and far from "good". Just bexause its the best we have that does not mean it is good. Literally more faith red99 will be rerolled then i have in RoZ becoming a good server to play on

This is coming from somebody who played Rallos Zek from kunark to PoP.

The ideal server would be p99 RED - classic to luclin. ON A SET TIMELINE. We already have the coding for Classic to velious. It wouldn't be that far fetched to add luclin.

ALL of the complaining and forumquesting that goes on- thousands of hours, millions of lines. If that effort was spent on an open-source project that is comparable to this project we would have what we want. Just saying.

I'm fine with PvP progression stopping in Luclin. That's good enough to set the tilt of Velious back towards center.

I enjoyed PoP 50-60 gameplay in the leveling zones there, but I can do without it. Raiding or not, I still enjoyed both sides of PoP. Legendary fights in PoValor, PoDisease, PoJustice, PoNightmare forest even had some good action. Most of my PoP time was spent in a Ssra Temple raid guild on RZ that did essentially 0 PoP progression. It wasn't until GoD was out that I joined a serious raid guild. WoW came out shortly after so I was spared the rest of the lame game.
