is lvl 25 a good lvl to start doing dalnir? almost to this lvl on me shaman, just wondering, had my first group in loio, but hmmm....group fell apart fast
i find my lvl 19 dots suck, and two of them never stick on any mobs at all, all i know with regen/canni at 24 is going to be awesome! i just say my 19 dots suck because they do the same dps as my lvl 9 dot, which is ridiculous (though i have heard that lower lvl dots were nerfed)

Pretty sure Dalnir is level 30-38 or so. Might want to just fight forest giants in Warsliks until then.

you do realise that the giants in warsliks, the goblins in warsliks and pretty much anywhere decent for xp/loots for us lower lvl players is constantly farmed by lvl 51's? :P why they arent progressing astounds me :(
yesterday finally i found the giant fort in ww was free, within 2 kills a bard called pescador turned up and pulled everything in sight. it sucks but what can you do really?
when kunark fever dies down and these items are selling for nothing then the real kunark will become open to everyone.

I've wondered this myself. It definitely seems like a loot fest. Most likely pharming or using high level characters to obtain equipment for alts. Everyone is unsure of loot nerfing or something?

Haha I definitely spent an afternoon clearing the giant fort. I didn't see anybody there when I got there and it was fully popped, so I apologize if you were already there.
Anyways, the reality is the limited time drops are too good to pass up, so everbody wants a ring before they are removed.

High-level characters farming giants are most likely trying to get ahold of Forest Loops (http://wiki.project1999.org/index.php/Forest_Loop) and Gem Encrusted Rings (http://wiki.project1999.org/index.php/Gem_Encrusted_Ring).
Particularly the latter, as they are slated to be removed from the game (or at least made way harder to get, I forget which) before long.

The ring gets removed from the giant loot table and later added to Old Seb (not sure what specifically), but I don't know if it happens at the same time or if theres a period of time where they're completely unavailable.
The forest loops AFAIK never stop dropping, they're just an incredibly good ear slot that is still very useful at 50+ so people are farming them to either use or cash in on the fact that they still have a relatively high value due to the new expansion.
Anyone remember the orc fang earring in velious? I remember some friends of mine selling them for 2-3k+ at velious launch and then a month later when people realized that they're incredibly common they'd dropped down to 100pp or so.
