My Raster only took 13 hours.

Did Raster twice in the course of like 3 days for the epic then to redo the Robe. Well worth the time to rot on my level 54 monk.

I actually don't mind downtime camps like this though.

Worst camping I did was for my epic. Was it worth it? When it was done, but didn't feel like it during. I MQ'd my last drop after camping for days. Thankfully I chose not to play that way most of the time. Unfortunately, there were times I wnated to make plat. It seems there were few choices. I could camp named but I wasn't the best camper, neither did I have the patience to track & camp. I could grind runs for plat--like HGs. That's what I chose to do to make plat because even though it was grindy at least I was doing something, versus camping one spot. I was never interested in alts solely for farming plat, so I played what I liked. Ultimately, I hated being in one place too long. Hunting for augments (in the later versions of everquest) was slightly more fun, but still campy.

Best times in Everquest were PUGs or grouping generally or a small to midtier raid.

I had left home (Cab/Kurns) at 22? to adventure in guk where I levelled 22-40 then returned home to train my remaining skills.

Both are great fun.
Monk is for my brother to join me in Norrath and to have a DPS class for raids when he not playing.

Paladin will always be my #1

Brother Q was my nightmare - some poor guy had spent 5 hrs before me and no dice and I spent 4 hrs after him

Brother Z I spent 20 mins on. Cleared a PH, died to Hadden trying to clear him, someone helped me kill him, Hadden popped again. /camped - came back next morning and Bro Z was up.

I killed bootstrutter maybe 15 times waiting for brother Z. I also made about 1k plat from MQ sellers for holding him there instead of killing him while they did their business. He is a pain to camp because its a pretty short spawn, you can't really go and do anything.
