Returning to EQ, particle effects & skins

I'm going to be returning to EQ but before I do I'm wondering if using the EQ titanium client with the P1999 server will end up with a true original EQ experience.

Are the old particle effects and original character skins in effect? If not, is there a way to mod the client to make them so?

The answer to your question is Yes.

However, some people prefer to have the more updated luclin textures
(E.G. Walls, Doors, Floors, ECT, NOT Character models) because they look significantly better. You can update that using the thread "Making EQ look significantly better graphically"
