It was my understanding that the int cap was to be raised to 255 upon the release of kunark. I noticed zero difference between my mana w/ 234 int, I had the gear on.
So is the int cap still 200? or?
Can anyone provide a break down of how mana is calculated?

My mana goes up by roughly 5 for every int above 200 at level 52. At least that's how it was last time I checked a few days ago.
What level is your character?

Can't tell you about post 50 but I experimented quite a bit with mana vs wis at 50 prior to kunark - and my conclusion was it all goes a bit skewqiffy above 200 such that you cannot rely upon algorithms or any sense of intuition you may have gained - it just doesn't make sense up there. For example you can remove say a wis earring and lose X mana, then remove the other identical earring and lose X+Y mana. That doesn't fit any formula I have seen and is certainly counter intuitive.

Insofar as I recall the formula for int casters was 5 times int times level up to 200 int and approximately a measly 5 or 4 mana per int after up to 255. Keep in mind that I learned that in luclin and have no idea if things changed during the period from classic to velious (and no way am I gonna look it up). Which is probably a long winded way of saying that if your stat hasn't changed then neither should your total.
I think this was the same way with wis casters as well but I played a wizard from velious to omens so wtf did I care about wis casters!

the mana formula for pre 200 is : (INT*0.2)*Level
To simplify, the mana per point of 1 INT (or WIS) grows by 1 point of mana each 5 levels
So:
1 INT at
Level 5 - 1 mana
Level 10 - 2 mana
Level 25 - 5 mana
Level 50 - 10 mana
Level 60 - 12 mana
for any INT/WIS above 200, its 50% less
so at level 60, you get 12 mana per INT for first 200, and 6 mana per INT for the rest of it
This maybe off by a few points (in total) but generally accurate for the Kunark - PoP period

Level 50 caster with 200 int = 50,000 mana?

Whats hybrid mana like on emu? I remember on other emu servers it was broken and hybrids were getting simular mana per wis/int that casters were getting but during classic and kunark hybrids would get half of what casters were getting

originally in 99 when mana wasn't even shown on your char, hybrids were getting less mana per INT/WIS than caster classes - exact ratio is unknown.
Some time later, SOE changed it around - they gave hybrids excatly same mana pool, but they made their spell to consume more mana - truly fucked up to be honest. Your mana bar would say that you have 200 mana. Your spell description would say that spell cost 30 mana to cast. And after you cast it, you would loose like 45 mana instead.
Another year later, they removed hybrids mana cost penalty too, so hybrids and casters got to equal terms.
I believe one of the devs stated recently that due to client limitation, they are using latest way for P99 - so hybrids- if you think you suck now - you SHOULD BE sucking even more =)
