Go to the gym. Get a trainer if you can to teach you the right forms. After a few weeks you'll feel like you have superpowers.

I’ve considered the same. Got some games for Christmas that I still haven’t even opened. Figured if I take a break I can play those games. Yeah that didn’t happen. Hell I even gave away all my plat to a guard and still couldn’t quit.
I agree though with above poster, if you can take a break and focus on rl, do it! Unless whatever other hobby you are going to replace it with is more costly. What I love about p99 is it costs nothing to keep me fulfilled. Even if it were $15 a month it would be worth it. Way better than the knife/gun collection I got into where I was putting myself in debt lol.
Either way, can I have your stuff?

I think if you’re having issues quiting, you can try be a dick about your chars.
For exemple organize a suicide mission in some messy zone, let em die in some super random spot and forget about for it for 7 days. That way you wont be able to get back in easy. In any case you can have em back but it takes time with petition.

This. Makes a huge difference in your day to day life, both physically and mentally.

Moving servers was my easiest fix to the same struggles i was going through. Now that i started a toon on red, i seem to not really care all that much about him.. However i seem to care about him more than my 2 characters on blue i've played for 3 years.. I log in a few times a week, get a couple hours in. And i'm out!
Yes my blue toons will be stripped one day and there will be a roll off, so yes you all can have a shot at my gear!

Time, location and the rules for this roll off?! I'll be there! :)

I've been playing a Rogue IRL.
My Pick Pocket skills are improving, but I did get a server suspension last week (arrested)

Hahaha! I even made a thread about trading across servers.. I got an RMT for an answer, but it seemed like it was much more advanced than 2 bro's trusting each other on their word.. I didnt' understand all that client talk..
I guess if this results in BigJ's ban, then it results in BigJ's ban haha.. Just know I'm an innocent man who means well 100% of the time!! If that's the case, it's been a pleasure knowing me!

Just leave your characters in tact. And step away. Maybe come back in a few years if you still feel the urge and look back on your toons fondly.
If you feel content with your career/job, family, and social life then to me spending some time playing is the same as watching tv or any other leisure activity. Just make sure you have irl priorities nailed down.
If you feel something in your life could be better. Drop this game and focus on that. You will be happier and more fulfilled. Come back and visit every now and then when youve accomplished your more tangible/fruitful goals.

Get a girlfriend. If you pay attention to her, you will probably seldom play any online games for a while. And, if you take her seriously, you may never play again and then you will be at max level.
The ZEM is to set a low bar for your first girlfriend. It's always easier to get women if you already have a woman. I think your pheromones change or something once the musk of desperation finally dissipates.

Learn a skill. I hear pruning bonsai trees is marketable.

Have sex. Yoga. Some form of positive spirituality. Work with something that is manly. Get a woman who does not like videogames and nerdy stuff like that. Read good books. Shower every day but dont use soap. Be kind to your family.
Good luck

Taking advice from immersed nerds still playing a 20 year old elf simulator is not likely to be good advice.
That said, go hard on the forums, achieve 100,000+ posts <3
I second making sure you arent physically weak. Stay fit. Keep your weight to a healthy range, get into good physical habits, like lifting a few times a week, running every single day. Make sure running up a bunch of flights of stairs doesnt poop you. Don't be one of the useless people in the world. Even if you are over 60 or retired or younger and have health issues there are steps to be taken here to be the best version of you. Theres nothing wrong with keeping a game like EQ in all that either. Time management.
Looking at a nice pair of boobs can be as good for the heart as 30 minutes of cardio exercise. Increase your consumption.
When you get the urge to play EQ, learn a meaningful and worthwhile skill instead like shuffling decks of cards or blowing gum bubbles or coming up with tongue-twisters.
There's a whole world of varied and intense tasks to experience.

Start walking.
Track nutrient and mineral intake. Just to see what you are doing to yourself.
Stop eating commercially produced globalist food sludge. Even if it's something trendy and labled NON-GMO.
Learn to cook your own meals.
Learn Pilates.
Get a job. Make a real savings account.
Make your bed.

100 Pushups!
100 Situps!
100 Squats!
And a 10 minute power-walk!
EVERY! SINGLE! DAY!
(yeah, I'm not running 10km :p)

Being a workout critic id trade the power walk for that 10k run, and swap the outdated sit ups for either pull ups if you can do them or rows if you can't, and you would have a nice daily light 80 minute workout mostly comprised of the 6 mile run :p
But you'd need to step it up a little harder eventually to some weights. Only some mystical prodigy is going to get any gains from such a weak workout.. Someone capable of destroying people in a single punch.

the only problem with lvling up IRL, is the de-lvl is 15X and you don't even have to die..its the only place you will ever find that if you make thousands more that year, it still ends up pretty shitty for ya. you can workout, get super strong but end up having problems in your joints, be lazy and die from heart disease...etc the list just goes on
.good luck lol
