What's up guys, looking for any recommendations on gear that a level 10 pally can obtain.
So far I've done the scarab armor quests and crush bone belt quest for a full set of small tattered. I traded a friendly Necro some bone chips for some fine steel weapons.
I'm waiting for the female ogre shaman to get her head in BB for blood forge and hoping to get the shiny brass shield from the orc trainer in CB in the next few levels as well as bracers of battle.
I've been able to make around 40pp so far and will continue saving to get banded or bronze.
Anything else I could be going for? Willing to travel if it makes sense.
Thanks!

This is great advice. If you spend any time in KC this stuff drops like candy and is commonly posted as rotting in /ooc. I bet you could acquire a decent set in not much time.
Just get a port to DL and get SoW, levi, and invis and soar your way to easy gear!

Seems like a bit of a hike to get there. Wiki seems to indicate that Jarsath gear is not an option for dwarves?

Ah yes, in that case you can't wear it...
It is a hike but it actuality it takes 5-10 minutes. Just a port to DL and then run to KC. Just risky at low levels if your invis fails.

Didn't see dorf.
You can also hang out around MM and see if anyone wants to give you some small bronze armor / purchase it off them for a couple plat (vs them having heavy ass armor and needing to run and sell it). Cheaper than buying in EC if anyone sells it to you.
You can try to farm GLS once you're up a couple levels and have a magic weap (theres some decent cheap weaps and people might outright give free ~50p weaps to you in EC).

Sorry, GLS = Greater Light Stones? So like farm for cash basically right? I had read this was a good idea to do and planned to do it at 15 once i got Summon Hammer of Wrath spell

Basically yes. In Lfay you can also do bandits but it might be rough for you to split them.

Okay, will be on tomorrow afternoon... i will hold onto any other bronze pieces that are usuable by dwarves as well. Not sure they are DWF/PAL friendly without looking it up, but I have crested spaulders and a diamondine earring for you as well.

I'm usually on around 6am est to about 8am weekdays and 6am to 10 or so weekends. Don't think I've played afternoon for a while now
I really appreciate the offer though. If you wanna plan for a time tonight or this week I can hop on whenever to meet you. I'm currently parked in unrest.

I parked myself in Unrest and tried catching you around 6:30am before I left for work... will you be on Friday morning? I can try again then. Or I can be online 6:30pm-9:30pm tonight if that works better.

Frankly I’d stick to high population areas like EC and while grinding do a friendly and non-annoying /ooc asking for generosity. If it’s your first toon on P99 (or first one up to lvl 20) most people are sympathetic; put that in the message. You might land a free Sword of the Skyfire, Jade Broadsword or Nathsar greatsword. Anything in that 100p range is open to vendor or charity once it’s struggling to sell.
Leveling is most important but if you can gear up at the same time that is time efficiency. That is the name of the game in EQ.
You might get some hazing but likely you will get some decent hand-me-downs and buffs. Then you can RP the generous kind Pally someday and return the favor.

Hey thanks! Great advice!
I had saved up around 100pp selling CB belts/pads, bonechips etc and then ended up buying some pieces myself. Down to about 50pp now but at lvl 18 I'm planning to head to Kurn's Tower this weekend to try to get some more bonechips to sell. I think before going to Kurn's I'm going to try and see if I can get Squallslither in Dagnor's Cauldren for the mask he drops.
While I'm happy to receive donations I'm not sure I can bring myself to openly ask for free stuff. I'm much more interested in finding places I can obtain the loot myself, it's really more exciting that way for me!
