PvP effectiveness of classes, ranked

I did not engage in a lot of PvP yet but i would like the perspective of the more experienced PvPers here what you consider the most effective PvP class.

I think there should be a distinction between top level raid geared and just group geared and maybe low tier geared. Obviously for some classes that makes a huge difference.

My impressions so far:

Top classes PvP:
* SK (gear dependant)
* Necro (not that dependant)
* Rogue (only theoretically, didn't see much rogue PvP yet)
* Wizard

Medium:
* Druid
* Shaman
* Ranger
* Bard

Low:
Chanter (almost everything a chanter does can be easily countered by high MR or rooting pet)
Cleric (same as chanter)
Warrior (needs at least some magic support by clickies or group mates)
Mage (pet is easily neutered)
Paladin (The MR issue again...)

Gear does of course make a difference as i said, especially for some classes that i perceive to be of low effectiveness.

I am sure and i even hope that this will spark some discussion. Maybe i will learn something :)

Enchanter is good at pvp, at least on Live. Rapture/Tash/Dispell/Slow/ManaSieve will neutralize any class, just takes a while to kill them.
Rogue always been the worst because of see invis items.

Your list comprises a list of classes that get YT (kill shot) - not so much effectiveness as a whole. Wizards and SKs are the easiest classes to get a YT on but they expend ALOT of their capacity per YT.

Shadowknights can burst dps thru life taps and a HT but once they are oom and HT down they are wet noodle. So their effectiveness is usually 1 YT only.

Bards are HIGH for anything that isnt 1v1 or indoors as an example.

A good player on most classes far outways the effectiveness of burst classes getting YTs. A well played cleric can turn the tide of a battle.

I think you been sitting on some level 20 somewhere watching the 5 yt a month that happen on red99 and assuming the effectiveness of the classes relate to this.
