Windows 10 game does not start

When i start the game i can see a flash of a window appearing and then nothing not even an error message.
If I go into my Task Manager it does says eqgame.exe is running but other than that there is no trace of the game at all.

I looked through the forums for 4 days now and i cant seem to find any awnser, maybe im blind and im not seeing the obvious but I would really apprechiate any help to get this game running.

things i tried:
the guide on this site,
the all in one installer,
another all in one installer,
running in compatability mode(I tried all of them),
running as admin,
i did change the file to "c:\where the exe is\eqgame.exe" patchme,
i tried editing the .bat file to actually grab the eqgame.exe where it is,
i tried fiddling with windowed and fullscreen setting in the .ini files

I have fixed my problem accidentally.

In a fit of anger i just spammed the .bat file and all of a sudden the game opend.
I do not know why or how but i am very happy.

I'd try WinEQ, without some kind of error I'm not sure what else to suggest.

Go into your event viewer > Windows Logs > Applications.... Check and see what error is showing up if any right after you attempt to open the application. If I were to make a guess, you have some anti-viral software shutting it down so check that as well and make sure that it is not blocking the .bat file from opening the game.
