I tried to charm Trooper Taer today and as a 60 enc he resisted almost everything I threw at him other than Rapture. Also has increased run speed.

Was this a Chardok patch change?

If you're really curious I'd say get a bard and shaman friend to debuff the hell out of one and see if anything will land. At least bard's OOS is unresistable. Or just kill one with whatever means and see.

If I had to guess you either got really unlucky or, like you said, chardok 2.0 patch changed something.

He has always been highly resistant and faster than normal, as fast as jboots. Boltran should eventually land though.

all the iksar guards in and around cabi are jacked up and have different run speeds. they are no joke. same reason they spanked xeno so many times

Hey. The ONE thing that enchanters who pick Bristlebane as a god have to celebrate is that they get to roleplay the defense of PoM from the unholy farmers. Cut them some slack; it's the least you can do for those poor, non-agnostic enchanters.

I tried on live with an 85 rogue... Couldn't kill unless I used a 400hp ds. It was weird... I couldn't hit for more than 40

I think I’m recent years EQ made guards way less of a target and more of a newbie tool to run to.
