That's not going to help their old account, which is tied to your server account.

You will probably have more luck posting in the server thread. Invariably someone has had this problem before.

Tried, gets to the end and says email change function disabled.

Obviously so you can’t trade accounts. OP bought an account and is trying to make it official.

Nope. Email I used for 20 years is about to go away. Moving everything to an ISP independent email. I'm the original account owner. Havent played in two years but would like to sort this in case I decide to play again. Having to do this with every forum or online presence I've ever touched for 20 some years, so much fun.

Ya, I've had the same thing happen multiple times over my many years of online gaming. I don't think you are going to be able to do much about it, though, if it's been disabled due to RMT. You can always ride it out and hope you never need the email for anything.

well whatever man. eqemu is the backend for all the listed servers including p99. if they don't have it, the problem is on your end.

i had this problem once and checked my yahoo account junk mail late, saw there had been over a decade of daily p3.bcak errors I had never even noticed.

I know my LS account and can reset PW with SMS verification but no forum account on Eqemu. It let me create register a new account with both emails so no it was never there or they changed since 2016 and lost my forum account. Neither new forum account there is showing the LS account, it only shows it here on p99 forum.

Definitely a design issue and not on my end.

Only problem is to get to that (the place I can see the LS account and send SMS/reset/change) I have to log on to this forum first which is tied to an email account that is going to be deleted in 90 days.

Ok think I solved it in a quirky manner.

1) Created a new forum account at EqEmu with desired new email addresses.

2) Used P99 forum option to link EqEmu forum account which said P99 would inherit the EqEmu email addresses.

3) Activated both links sent to both email addresses.

4) LS account still here in P99 and email address on P99 forum account is now updated to the desired new email address.
