Green items most lusted after

My friend and I play on Blue quite a bit, and try to duo whenever possible. I'm trying to convince him to come to Green when it's live.

What items do you think will most sway him? Ones that are going to be available (in theory - regardless of drama or odds) on Green that are no longer dropping (or are nerfed) on Blue?

So far I've got the ones people care about:

Primal
Fungi staff


He mostly plays Bard and Druid.

FSS never dropped in EQ, though. It was GM event only. But don't forget things like rings of the dead and lockets of escape and i suppose circlet of shadow should also be in there.

GM event? MM never spawned on any server the years I played. There were lots of rumors as to why/how to spawn him but no way to actually do it.

I think manastone was removed around PoF being introduced. Guise was certainly nerfed long before kunark but can't really quite remember when. (never really and still don't give a chit about DE illusion).

Mayone Mistmoore? The one time I saw it up on P99, it acted like normal monster AI. It was GM spawned, probably, but I don't believe it was GM-controlled. After the group I was with died, another group (I want to say IB?) came in and killed it, and that was that.

In any event, it certainly was GM spawned and anything that is a GM spawn/event item shouldn't be considered an item that "no longer drops". They could be spawning one right now in mistmoore.

Don't put in locket of escape, manastone, guise of the deceiver, or holgresh elder beads, SoD, or any of those other nerfed later / n longer dropping items. People will definitely trade shit between servers for them and in general just ruin other people just wanting to play in order to get them.

I think you should consider a more modern MMO with instancing. So these items should be removed because you won't have the opportunity to stroll into Lower Guk and grab the camp at 6pm EST after work and dinner?

Staring at the spellbook was funny because it was one of the most brutal game mechanics ever, like enforces boredom. Back then people would probably just chat more in OOC but nowadays they'll probably just alt-tab to a fun game

I was thinking about this earlier, its really going to suck actually being a bard/rogue on green. On blue its basically a gimme that you'll have a DE mask as those classes, on green every other elf on the server is after it. Sounds kinda lame tbh
